Directed by Tom Hooper, The King's Speech is centered around Prince Albert and his journey to becoming King George VI, whilst his speech impediment detriments his ability to lead.
The King's Speech masterfully allows the audience to empathize for Prince Albert through Colin Firth's immaculate performance. Geoffrey Rush also provides a warm portrayal throughout.
Ultimately, I found The King's Speech extremely enthralling, finding myself deeply invested into the adversities faced by Prince Albert.
