So what is your opinion on the Occupy Movements taking place in America and several other countries around the world? Do you think their actions are justified, or are they too disorganised to make any real difference?

Whilst I do know it is occurring, I'm not certain of their motives!
Please explain!

My understanding of it is that is a solidarity movement against the current political climate in America, and the union of money and politics. At the moment, under US federal law a company is classified as a person, and therefore can donate any amount of money to a political candidate, effectively buying them out in many places.
It's the view of the protesters that this is rife with the system, and that said politicians are just pandering to the wants of Wall Street as opposed to the average American, or the '99%' to borrow the movement's slogan.

Quite honestly I never really knew what they were on about, but that makes a bit more sense. I guess in the end it does seem a bit unjust that large corporations could bend political candidates out, but then again, how much trust could you really put into the hands of an 'average' American?
Whilst the moguls would undoubtedly try to assist themselves, there would be a large chance of their motives further improving our society's condition more so then those of the average citizen?
What would an average citizen ask for anyway? More money for less work?

I don't really think that the average American is such a good person to trust either, hell, look at many times they've elected Republicans. But I think I'd prefer them to the Wall Street execs.
There's still investment in public projects and the such, but it's just that the money in America is mostly in the hands of the upper '1%', although in reality the discrepancy in wealth is not as clean as 99% to 1%.

Ohh what to do...Give too much power to the people and we're screwed. Give too much power to the executives and we're less screwed.

Well in general I would prefer some semblance of balance between the two, but maybe the executives having more power isn't too bad.

I personally believe that we're in a pretty good state right now.
