After watching several trailers of the game, I could not even help but to buy it. After hating morrowind and never even touching the other elder scrolls, I wondered why on earth I thought I would like this. Regardless, I dished out $78 and bought it. And it's already drained several days of my (hyperbole) life! Whilst it's graphics can be touchy at times (think textures), the immersion into skyrim is amazing. The map isn't extraordinarily big, preventing traveling from becoming a tedious drill. Combat is fun, with so many possible builds, and some pretty cool finishing moves (That glitch out sometimes but are sick nevertheless!). The dialogue is always interesting, and the temptation to start slagging off at people is sometimes overwhelming. I haven't even scratched the surface of the game, but it has already been an enjoyable game, that lingers on the edge of hardcore gamers and casuals. My only complaint is that I'll probably need to play it more than once to make the Fat Redguard rogue that's oh so cynical I've been dreaming of

I won't lie, I'm naked.
But seriously, I think Skyrim looks really good, and this coming from someone who never plays these types of games. I usually stick to the Nintendo side of gaming. But Skyrim certainly does seem appealing, and if wasn't short on cash right now I'm sure I would already be playing it.

It's really good, I would consider selling your house, and by the sounds of it, you've already sold your clothes.

I cannot wait to play Skyrim! I really got into Oblivion. Unfortunately I don't have a console and my computer isn't up to the job.

It's a great game, unfortunately I didn't play oblivion, but now that I've played skyrim and enjoy it, maybe i'll get oblivion later! And I could imagine the amount of stress skyrim would be putting on computers. Good thing I have a ps3 otherwise I would never be able to run it on my laptop
